LONDON

Whilst in the London area on a kids UK soccer tours, we stay at The Royal Holloway, University of London in Egham, Surrey.

Egham is a town which is part of the London commuter belt where the central London can be reached in 40 minutes on the train.
Also, within walking distance is the historic site of Runnymede where the Magna carta was sealed.
The teams stay in the Founders’ Building which is the dominant building on the campus.
It is an example of Gothic Revival architecture and was one of the first places in Britain that women could access higher education which was funded by Victorian Entrepreneur Thomas Holloway.
The building was officially opened in 1886 by Queen Victoria.
A statue of Queen Victoria sits in the centre of the north quadrangle whilst the centre of the south quadrangle contains a statue of Thomas Holloway and his wife Jane.
Not only is the history of the Founders building interesting, it has been used as a fitting location for films and tv programmes.

Players will stay in single or twin rooms depending on their age.
Breakfast will be provided on campus but depending on the teams’ individual itinerary lunch and evening meals maybe taken in the local area.

Perfect while on our youth UK football tour.

DEVON

During the teams stay in Devon, England on our youth UK football tour, the teams stay at Mount Kelly, Tavistock which is a private, independent, co-educational school which is set in 100 acres of countryside and woodland on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.

As with Founders’ Hall, Royal Holloway Mount Kelly is steeped in British history and architecture.
It can be traced back to late 1860s following a bequest from Admiral Benedictus Marwood Kelly, for the ‘sons of naval officers and other gentlemen’ and was one of the first great Victorian public schools to become co-educational.

Tavistock is a market town 15 miles from the Ocean City, Plymouth. It is the birthplace of Sir Francis Drake.
The biggest event in the towns calendar is the annual Tavistock ‘Goose Fair’ in October which can be traced back to 1116.

The Mount Kelly facilities are first class, as are the 3 meals served daily which cater for all dietary requirements.
Players will stay in twin rooms Boys’ 2019 or in dormitories which sleep up 3 to 8.
